Fishing trips for trout and grayling

Trout and grayling fishing is fly fishing at its most enjoyable when you pay attention to the details. Insects on the surface, a rise along the edge of the current, and a cast that has to land just right the first time.

We offer trips to clear rivers in Bosnia, Slovenia and Montenegro, to the Kaitum River at Tjuonajokk in Lapland, to New Zealand and to Mongolia, where grayling share the river with taimen and lenok.

Balkan. Bosnien från maj till oktober, även som hosted trip med Sivan Jansson eller Baitbox. I Slovenien fiskar du även marmorataöring, och Montenegro är som bäst från juni till september.

Lappland. Tjuonajokk vid Kaitumälven i juli och augusti, med harr i fokus och chans på öring.

Längre bort. Nya Zeeland från oktober till maj, när det är vinter hemma, och Mongoliet där harr och lenok lever i samma älvar som taimen.

När är bästa tiden att fiska öring och harr?

I Bosnien är maj till oktober höjdpunkten, i Slovenien april till oktober och i Montenegro juni till september. I Tjuonajokk fiskar vi i juli och augusti, och på Nya Zeeland går säsongen från oktober till maj.

Vilka tekniker använder man?

Torrfluga, nymf och streamer, beroende på älv och säsong. Säg vad du helst fiskar med så tipsar vi om vilken resa som passar.

Kan man fiska huchen?

Ja. I Bosnien och Montenegro är oktober till februari bästa tiden för huchen, Hucho hucho, och den finns även i Slovenien.

Finns det resor med reseledare?

Ja, till Bosnien finns hosted trips med Sivan Jansson och med Baitbox.

Yes, traveling alone is perfectly fine. Many of our guests travel on their own and fish together in small groups.
