Salmon fishing is all about patience and timing. You read the water, fish through the pool and know the next cast could be the one. When the line stops and a bright salmon comes up to the surface, all the waiting is forgotten.

We offer salmon fishing in Iceland, where Stóra Laxá Lower has over 70 marked pools across eight rods, on the Lainio River in Lapland, and in Canada and Alaska, where Pacific salmon run up the rivers in summer.

Island. Stóra Laxá från juni till september, eller med Oskar Wignäs på hans hosted trip. Vill du kombinera lax med öring och röding sätter vi ihop en skräddarsydd resa.

Lappland. Camp Onka vid Lainioälven, med laxfiske från mitten av juni till slutet av augusti.

Kanada och Alaska. Skeena med kungslax i juni och juli och steelhead vår och höst, och Alaska där alla fem stillahavslaxarter går upp i älvarna under sommaren. På Fraser River kombinerar du störfiske med lax från augusti till november.

När är bästa tiden för laxfiske?

På Island fiskar vi lax från juni till september och i Lainioälven från mitten av juni till slutet av augusti. I Skeena är juni och juli kungslaxens tid, och i Alaska går säsongen från april till september.

Vilka laxarter kan man fiska?

Atlantlax på Island och baltlax i Lainioälven. I Kanada och Alaska fiskar du stillahavslax som kungslax och silverlax, och i Skeena även steelhead.

Fiskar man med fluga eller spinn?

Kan man kombinera laxfiske med annat fiske?

Ja. På Island kan resan kombineras med öring, röding och havsöring, och på Fraser River med störfiske.

Can I travel alone on a fishing trip with Outside Travels?

Yes, traveling alone is perfectly fine. Many of our guests travel on their own and fish together in small groups.
