Fishing trips in Norway

Trips to Norway are the real deal when it comes to sea fishing. You drive your own boat, read the charts, look for drop-offs and plateaus, and decide for yourself when it’s time to head out. That freedom is what makes sea fishing in Norway so special.

We have six destinations along the coast: Frovåg on Senja, Camp Halibut on Sørøya, Nappstraumen in Lofoten, Andøya and Risøyhamn, Offersøy at the gateway to Lofoten and Vesterålen, and Loppa Havsfiske in Nuvsvåg. Halibut is the common thread at all of them, but in spring there’s also skrei, and in summer, saithe, cod, and wolffish to fill your days.

Stor hälleflundra. Camp Halibut på Sørøya har en bottenstruktur med branter och djupa kanter som gång på gång ger tunga flundror. Frovåg på Senja är lika populärt.

Skrei på våren. I Nappstraumen i Lofoten är mars och april tiden för klassiskt skreifiske, medan maj till oktober ger ett blandat fiske med hälleflundra, sej och torsk.

Fler alternativ. Offersøy, Andøya och Loppa har säsong från april till oktober.

När är bästa tiden för havsfiske i Norge?

Säsongen går från mars till oktober. Mars och april är skreitid, särskilt i Lofoten. Från maj till september är fisket efter hälleflundra, sej och torsk som mest varierat, och i Frovåg räknar vi maj till september som bästa perioden.

Ingår fiskeguide på havsfiskeresor i Norge?

Normalt inte. De flesta av våra havsfiskecamper är upplagda för egen körning med hyrbåt, där du själv planerar fisket. Vill du ha sällskap av en reseledare finns hosted trips till Frovåg.

Behöver jag fiskekort i Norge?

Vid havsfiske i Norge behövs inget fiskekort för saltvatten. Det finns däremot regler för minimimått, fredade arter och hur mycket fisk du får ta med hem.

Vilka fiskar kan jag fånga?

Hälleflundra, torsk, sej och havskatt är huvudarterna. Beroende på plats och säsong fångas också uer och skreitorsk.

Can I travel alone on a fishing trip with Outside Travels?

Yes, traveling alone is perfectly fine. Many of our guests travel on their own and fish together in small groups.
